Travel Internet with UniSIM Tourist SIM Card — Just $1 per 1GB

Туристическая сим-карта

Before my trip to Turkey, I started thinking about getting a travel SIM card for internet access. I remembered seeing a lot of praise online for DrimSIM, but I decided to look for alternatives — and I’m glad I did. I came across Unisim, which offers data in nearly 170 countries starting at just $1 per gigabyte.

In Turkey, you can connect to up to three different carriers. One charges around $1 per GB, another about $2 — either way, it’s a great deal.

Ordering the SIM was easy. The website is straightforward, and the minimum payment is $8. Of that, $2 goes toward activation and the remaining $6 is credited to your account. I ended up spending just $4.50 on the entire trip — a little under 3 GB of data.

After landing, the network didn’t connect automatically, so I manually selected the first available one, and it worked right away. No issues after that — the connection felt just like home.

Sharing the internet with other devices worked perfectly — I tested it with my Apple phones and laptops without any problems.

Unisim also promises a “forever” balance — your account credit doesn’t expire and stays available until you use it.

The only downside is that there’s no physical SIM card available. The service is only compatible with phones that support eSIM.

Overall, I’m very satisfied and can definitely recommend it.
